Solo traveler delight
Had the most comfy bunk in a well-kept space. The kitchen was perfect for whipping up a late-night snack after long days of exploring, and the common area gave me a chance to meet some cool fellow travelers.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but pretty much what you'd expect for the quality.

The bunk beds here come equipped with privacy curtains and personal power outlets, which provides a decent sense of seclusion in a mixed dorm setting. The location truly shines, making it easy to access various transportation options, greatly improving your ability to explore the city effortlessly.
The cleanliness leaves much to be desired—dust collecting under the bunk beds and an unpleasant odor wafting through the rooms can really throw off your experience. Limited ventilation hampers air quality, with the air conditioning further exacerbating the musty scent rather than alleviating it. Moreover, the provided linens seem overdue for a wash, with stains suggesting poor maintenance. The lack of towels and basic amenities in the bathroom could be inconvenient for some, especially after a long day of exploring.

Proximity to the main train station is a key advantage, making it easy to explore the area. The shared kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals. The cozy ambiance adds to the experience. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the facilities, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. However, noise from nearby streets was a bit noticeable, and additional amenities like complimentary towels would be appreciated. The traditional shabu-shabu was a delightful culinary treat during my stay.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored the Fushimi Inari Shrine and Nijo Castle. The location is super convenient, just a short walk to transit options. The shared kitchen was clean, and the staff were really friendly. They even helped us with local tips which made our trip more memorable.
The only downside was the lack of a lift, which made carrying our bags up to the second floor quite a hassle.

Loved the spacious beds and cozy vibe! Met interesting folks in the common area, and it was super clean everywhere. Plus, the location was spot on for wandering about!
One of the cleaners barged in when I was showering—awkward! A simple lock would be nice. I don't need surprise guests in my towel.
